My client is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Account Executive to join their team within an FMCG Manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Commercial team, providing essential support to the Business Sector Controllers.
This role is pivotal in managing the product portfolio. Your contributions will ensure the smooth operation of commercial activities: maintaining accurate pricing, submitting new product forms, coordinating promotional activity and forecasting volume.
You will be expected to work as a team player and be comfortable project managing, communicating internally across multiple levels and externally to customers and their buying teams. Focus will be placed on forecasting and demand planning. Once in the role, the candidate will be expected to fully understand the end-to-end supply chain model, maintaining a high level of service and building long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities

Accurately manage and maintain price files on customer portals, and systems in conjunction with the Commercial team.

Submit new line forms and contracts on retailer portals.

Relationship management: build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with retailers, acting as their primary point of contact.

Establish strong relationships with key internal departments

Operations to deliver effective solutions and enhance customer satisfaction.

Deal promptly with customer queries or requests, through to completion in a timely and effective manner.

Support with factual input into Supply Chain meetings including forecasting and demand planning.

Co-ordinate the implementation of price changes, including stock management and implementation dates both internally and with the customer.

Co-ordinate the implementation of new product launches, products specifications, amendments to product packaging or from concept to launch and be involved in the internal processes to understand fully and manage.

Maintain a good level of understanding and progress with key tracker documentation include vintage trackers and forex requirements

Market Research: stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to provide insights and adapt strategies by regular store visits category and market analysis.

Represent the company at Trade events and fairs.

Active involvement with the preparation of annual plans and assist with joint business plans.

Support the administration of tenders and the creation of NBE’s. This includes regular interaction cross-functionally to source all information

Have full working knowledge of retailer’s systems and supplier portals.

Commercial Planning

Involvement with Supply Chain to manage forecasts and proposals for changes.

Develop an awareness of Kingsland production plans and daily/weekly reports.

Liaison with Planning department regarding changes that are required to protect customer availability.

Develop a strong awareness of current range and activity in accounts, promotional planning and in store features.

Experience working within a fast-paced environment within a similar role, FMCG
