Manchester Staff is looking for an experienced HSE Manager for one of our leading clients. In this position you’ll be working for the UKs largest Mechanical Services Contractor providing both mechanical and fire products.

Roles and responsibilities:
The HSE Manager will oversee multiple sites, conducting monthly site visits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Key responsibilities include enforcing regulations, logging incidents into the CRM, and leading Monday morning meetings to review incidents and updates. The role involves scheduling support for one or two sites, creating health and safety action plans, conducting follow-up audits, and tracking progress. Additional duties include low-level manual handling, delivering H&S inductions, drafting new ISO procedures, and performing quarterly audits. The HSE Manager will produce monthly reports, serve as the primary on-site contact, maintain accurate records, and provide regular progress updates to project stakeholders.
Essential:
- ISO Knowledge
- IOSH Level
- 2-5 years’ Experience
- Good interpersonal skills
- Confident with IT – Excel Pivot Tables
