Air Conditioning Installation Improver
We are looking for a motivated AC Improver who is self- driven and reliable to join our client’s Air Conditioning team and support their qualified engineers in delivering top-quality AC installations to commercial properties in and around Central London.
This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years AC experience who is eager to continue to learn and develop new skills, and progress in their Air Conditioning career.
Our client has a rapidly growing installation team and is an ambitious and expanding business, so there is further opportunity for career development, ongoing training, and progression.
Their current AC team install and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for a range of projects across a variety of sectors, from small projects to huge scale commercial projects at varying sites across Essex, London and surrounding areas.
Key responsibilities:

Assist with surveying sites ahead of installing heating, ventilation, or air conditioning systems

Assist with onsite coordination of pipework, ductwork, and control panels

Perform quality checks to ensure systems are working efficiently and safely

Assist qualified engineers with the installation, servicing, and repair of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, ventilation, and heating equipment.

Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are prepared for each job.

Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, including service reports and timesheets.

Adhere to health and safety regulations on-site and follow safe working practices.

Liaise professionally with clients and team members to ensure smooth job completion.

Take part in on-the-job training to improve technical knowledge and skills.
Required Skills

CSCS Card
-
NVQ Level 2 (or working towards) in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or a similar discipline is desirable.

F-Gas Qualification desired but not necessary

Own hand tools

Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and components including split, multi-split, mini VRV/VRF, heat recovery VRV/VRF

Capable of working to and understanding technical drawings

Highly conscientious and well organised

Willingness to travel to attend sites

Good written and verbal communication

Confidence working independently as well as part of a team

Willingness to excel in a highly motivated company who strive to deliver quality projects

Understanding of health and safety regulations in the HVAC industry.

40 hour working week 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday with a 60-minute unpaid break
