Our client's key subsidiary, is currently seeking a passionate and experienced SHEQ Advisor. This role is vital in supporting their mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service.”
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with managers and employees to promote a culture of safe working practices across the Group.

Provide coaching and development to influence and enhance client's safety culture through the "Work Safe | Home Safe" initiative.

Investigate, resolve, and report on incidents, hazards, near-misses, and SHE non-conformances arising from audits or safety events.

Conduct regular construction site visits and safety audits.

Stay informed of new legislation and developments impacting SHEQ practices.
About You

Qualifications: NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.

Experience: Background in managing risks within the utilities sector.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety, health, and environmental requirements and related legislation.

Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to create high-quality reports and presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
This role is home-based, with 1 day based in their Childerditch office per week, and visits to sites in South East ie South East London, Essex.
