Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanic, hydraulic & pneumatics & comfortable fitting out new machinery as well as refurbishing & maintaining models.
Responsibilities

Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the required fittings and components.

Assemble and install mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.

Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify any issues or maintenance needs.

Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including any repairs or modifications made.

Ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored after use.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within a mechanical or engineering environment.

Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic principles and the ability to read technical drawings.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the workplace is essential.
