Control Room Operator required on a temp-to-perm contract to start immediately. The hourly rate will be £14.25, and permanent hours will be Monday through Friday, 2pm until 10pm, and every other Saturday.
Duties:
Report all safety or environmental issues to Management, and where appropriate, to internal support services staff
Regularly update data on internal computer systems
Effectively run the MBT process to ensure the plant is optimised for production
Work to agree RDF production via the control room ensuring checks are in place
Ensure that daily checks are completed
Complete and sign off level 1 maintenance tasks
Liaise with maintenance team to maintain plant uptime
Carry out regular walkover inspections of the facility and equipmentBenefits:

Experience working on a production line is preferred
Any experience in the waste, recycling industry is beneficial
Good IT skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to clearly communicate at all levels
Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
