We are currently hiring for a permanent position: Maintenance Coordinator for a well-known maintenance service provider based in Basildon, Essex.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Coordinator or Helpdesk Coordinator
- Strong telephone skills and excellent customer service abilities
- Proficient knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of planning maintenance work and managing subcontractors
- Experience in dealing with quotations and proactively ensuring repairs are completed from start to finish
- Ideally, a background in facilities management
Key Duties will include:
- Liaising with subcontractors
- Answering telephone inquiries
- Inputting calls into a database system
- Updating clients
- Producing purchase orders
- Monitoring progress
- Participating in the on-call rota
- Working on planned maintenance and managing key clients
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (non-hybrid working option)
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 plus benefits
