Job Role: Design Engineer
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Metalis are currently working with a specialist manufacturer who are looking for a Design Engineer to join their team.
Job Duties:
Review customer/project requirements and create detailed design drawings
Assist the commercial and projects teams
Provide support for the Head of Design
Comply with ISO9001 standards at all time
Involved in continuous improvement activities to improve business performance
Plan and organise the effective use of resources to ensure targets are fully met
Review process designs, identifying areas for improvement and suggest appropriate courses of action
Manage relationships with customers and suppliers
Job Requirements:
Design Engineer experience (3 - 5 years)
Design qualifications (preferred)
Good understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering
Solidworks experience or similar
Full UK Driving Licence
UK Passport
Salary & Shift:
£25,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4:30pm & Friday, 8am - 3:30pm
