Principal People – Technical Services are currently supporting a forward-thinking Housing Association in the search for a dedicated Estates Officer to oversee the maintenance and quality standards of their estates.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of residents while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and housing standards across the portfolio.
As an Estates Officer, you’ll be responsible for:
Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Identifying improvement opportunities to enhance living environments and proposing innovative solutions.
Engaging positively with residents, addressing concerns, and fostering a strong sense of community.
Collaborating with teams to ensure prompt resolution of maintenance and compliance issues.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and management across all estates. What You’ll need in order to be successful:
Experience in estate or facilities management, ideally within housing or property sectors.
A solid understanding of health and safety regulations, including Fire Risk Assessments.
Exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills to manage inspections, reporting, and resident engagement.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word.
