Construction Engineering – Associate Level Engineer
The Opportunity
Due to continued growth and new project wins across the buildings and infrastructure sectors, a leading engineering consultancy is expanding its Construction Engineering team. This presents an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing, collaborative team focused on delivering multi-disciplinary solutions to clients in both construction staging and structural engineering.
As part of the Construction Engineering team, you will be involved in a variety of services such as temporary works, logistics, plant and equipment, and virtual design and construction. You will work closely with other in-house teams such as geotechnical and civil engineering, gaining exposure to diverse and challenging projects.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Leading and reviewing structural engineering analysis and design for temporary works and permanent structures during the construction phase

Managing projects and work packages from inception to delivery, including resourcing and commercial performance

Leading the production of project deliverables such as models, drawings, and reports

Managing client relationships throughout the design and construction process

Developing and assessing construction sequencing proposals

Using tools to measure and reduce carbon impact across all projects

Conducting site inspections and assessing existing structures

Mentoring junior staff and supporting their development

Assisting with team commercial and resource planning

Contributing to team and business work winning
Experience and Knowledge
-
BEng (Hons) or MEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering
-
At least 2 years of relevant experience (temporary works experience is a bonus, but not essential)

Chartered status with IStructE, ICE, or equivalent
-
Proficiency with key software tools, such as Civils 3D and Micro Drainage
