S&OP Specialist - Europe
Location: Gravesend, UK (minimum 3 days per week on-site)
Hours: Standard 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30 (flexibility required)

The Opportunity:
As our S&OP Specialist – Europe, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating demand and supply planning to support business growth and strategy. You’ll collaborate across sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams, ensuring alignment and transparency in the end-to-end planning process. With responsibilities spanning forecasting, inventory optimization, and performance reporting, this role demands a strategic mindset, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
As a key change agent, you will:
Develop and maintain long-term demand and supply plans aligned with business strategy
Collaborate with sales, marketing and procurement teams to ensure accurate demand forecasts and production capacities
Lead monthly and weekly S&OP meetings with cross-functional stakeholders
Manage and optimise inventory levels, reporting on key metrics like DSI and OTIF
Maintain dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) to track S&OP KPIs including forecast and inventory accuracy
Analyse SAP S/4HANA MRP suggestions and support supply chain planning
Act as the central contact for resolving conflicts between demand and supply
Drive innovation and efficiency in S&OP processes through optimisation solutions, including RPA
Develop Solutions that enhance transparency across Sales, Operations, Finance and Marketing teams
About You:
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Science, Technology, Commerce, or Business (Master’s or MBA desirable).
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supply chain management, ideally in manufacturing and distribution across multiple countries
Strong strategic and analytical skills, with knowledge of S&OP, S&OE and IBP processes
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau/Power BI and SAP S/4HANA
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Leadership capabilities with a can-do attitude and a focus on customer satisfaction
Desirable Skills:
Proficiency in French, Portuguese or Spanish
Experience with procurement, customer service and sustainability initiatives
Knowledge of the lubricant industry and its value chains
