Overall purpose of the job: To manage and maintain quality within Fidelity Secure Drive. Maintain and resolve customer related issues. Present and defend Fidelity Secure Drive all fitment related issues where required to contribute daily to our mission of earning the reputation that we provide all our clients and partners with superior quality technology and information supported by first rate service. The incumbent must uphold our promise to clients that we go beyond the expected.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all allocated resources including vehicle cleanliness, traffic offences, roadworthiness, tools, and stock.
- Complete stock take and resolve all missing stock.
- Ensure cell phones and devices are operational and monitor data usage.
- Maintain uniform cleanliness and presentation as per PSIRA.
- Perform daily administration and duties to ensure the smooth running of the technical function.
- Complete on-the-job coaching with technicians where required.
- Attend to all complaints and offer product support onsite and remotely.
- Assist with fitments and complete hardware installations to the highest quality and within the required timelines.
- Repair, maintain, and install tracking systems while maintaining fitment quality.
- Assist with technical evaluations and repairs.
- Implement new fitment techniques as per OEM fitment guideline requirements.
- Ensure personal hygiene and company uniform are in good condition.
- Familiarity and adherence to applicable company policies and procedures.
- Take initiative to develop own skills and provide comprehensive feedback to internal role players.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
- Matric
- Clear Criminal Record
- Trade test in motor electrical electronics or similar preferred
- At least 6-10 years’ experience in the fitment of vehicle tracking equipment
