Job Title: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Wotton- Under- Edge
Hours: 40+ hours per week
Salary: £11.44ph to £13.29ph DOE
Key Responsibilities of a Mechanical Fitter:

Assemble, fit, and install mechanical systems and components in machinery and equipment.

Interpret technical drawings and manuals to ensure the correct assembly of parts.

Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems to ensure they operate efficiently.

Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues.

Work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time.

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks.

Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Key Skills of a Mechanical Fitter:

Proven experience in mechanical fitting or a related field.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
-
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
-
Good communication and organisational skills.
-
Familiarity with health and safety standards in a mechanical environment.

A qualification in mechanical engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
