Experienced Full/Part-Time Legal Secretary Wanted
Are you an experienced legal secretary with a background in conveyancing? We are a modern law firm with traditional values, established in 1875 and based in Witham, Essex. We are currently looking to expand our Conveyancing Team with a skilled legal secretary who can bring efficiency and professionalism to our practice.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform general administrative tasks, including scanning, filing, typing, handling phone enquiries, and archiving.

Manage ID collection and verification as well as the collection of monies on account.

Assist fee earners with the file opening and closing processes.

Type documents accurately as dictated by fee earners (audio typing skills essential).

Produce and amend documents using firm templates.
Candidate Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Previous experience in conveyancing is essential.

Flexible approach to work with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Excellent client service skills.

Proficient audio typing and document preparation skills.
Job Type: Part-Time (22.5–30 hours per week)
