You will join a registered provider of social housing, dedicated to delivering high-quality homes and services to thousands of residents who are located across the North Somerset and East Somerset regions. You will be working in a portfolio of both modern and historic buildings, including listed buildings which require a specialist approach.
Your new role
As an experienced and dedicated project manager, you will lead and deliver capital building projects for a social housing portfolio.
- Lead and manage capital building projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
- Oversee projects involving historic and listed buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant conservation and heritage regulations.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and a range of other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
What you'll need to succeed - Proven experience in project management, especially within the social housing sector.
- A background working in historic and listed buildings.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
What you'll get in return In return, you will be able to take advantage of a long-term contract with an initial duration of up to 12 months. As a professional contractor, you'll be able to work on a hybrid basis, undertaking site visits and inspections in the Southwest, whilst also working from home.
