Hays are currently working with a Local Authority based in London to appoint a dedicated and proactive Resident Liaison Officer to join the team on a major works programme. This role is crucial in ensuring effective communication and support for residents throughout the duration of the project. The working location of this role is easily accessible by the London transport network.
Your new role
Act as the main point of contact for residents, addressing their concerns and queries promptly and professionally.Facilitate clear and consistent communication between residents, contractors, and the project team.Organise and attend resident meetings, providing updates on project progress and addressing any issues.Conduct regular site visits to ensure residents are informed, and any disruptions are minimised.Assist in the development and distribution of project-related information, including newsletters and notices.Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and feedback.
What you'll need to succeedPrevious experience in a similar role, preferably within a local authority or housing association.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.Knowledge of housing and construction processes is an advantage.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
