Client Side - Regional Estate Surveyor

I am currently working with a client who are looking for a Regional Estate Surveyor to manage their retail portfolio across the South Region of London. The role is searching for someone with a can do attitude who will be self-organised and with a proactive approach!
Your new role
- Negotiation rent reviews & submitting written representations to Arbitrator/Expert
- Negotiation and overseeing all lease renewals including basic lease terms and submission of expert witness reports as and when required
- Arranging disposals of vacant and part vacant units and negotiating subtenant lease renewals and rent reviews
- Working alongside the development team to secure at risk licences and to grow the estate through the acquisition of new property
- Negotiation of dilapidation/repair schedules and management of outsourced external advisors when appropriate
- Negotiation of surrenders, lease extensions and Deeds of Variation
- Review and challenge of service charges and insurance costs were higher than anticipated
- Negotiating and agreeing licences, including licences for alterations and satellite dishes
- Ensuring compliance of lease covenants including all landlord and tenant issues and successfully resolving property related disputes.
What you'll need to succeed - MRICS - Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors
- Degree in Real Estate
- Proficient in Lnadlord and Tenant acts
- Property Management experience and legal understanding
What you'll get in return - Salary Ranging from £50,000 - £70,000 depending on experience and qualification
