Requirements:

Trade tested and qualified in HVAC and Refrigeration.
Experienced in daily Service related Refrigeration issues and Project builds.
15- 20 years industry experience “you know refrigeration inside out”.
5-10 years in a similar position managing Refrigeration Technicians.
People management, Team building ,Project and Service delivery is a priority with appropriate references
Build and manage our Refrigeration technicians
- Build teams & Area controllers(2) & Spares
Non nonsense approach.
Manage leave.

Responsibilities:

Schedule daily work allocation of both technicians and build teams
1. Maintenance SLA’s
2. Daily call outs
3. Project Resource allocation & scheduling
4. Workshop repairs
5. Follow on’s
6. Spares “on time & right”
Daily routine:
1. 7:30 Meeting & job allocation with technicians at 7:30
2. Check fitness and ready to go eg. dress code, van stock etc.
3. Manage our 2 Controllers allocating jobs and call outs to technicians (daily, hourly etc.)- right guy for the right job
4. Check outstanding issues from previous day
5. Repair quote detail follow up with office
6. Technicians Out the gate by 8:00
7. Act as “go to guy”, leader, coach, by phone/on site for challenging issues
8. Spot checks on site (5-10) per week (technicians & customer interaction )
Weekly routine
1. Standby schedule (daily/weekends/holidays)
2. Tool & vehicle inspection
3. Van stock
Six Monthly
1. Conduct bi-annual performance reviews on technicians
2. Determine development areas for skills improvement
