Job Description (Summary)
• Frequent interaction & feedback from suppliers
• Liaising with clients & ensuring that the price file is maintained.
• Product sourcing of new items
• Purchasing, ordering/ transferring of stock
• Listing new products on POS (IQ Retail)
• Goods Receiving & Monitoring of stock
• Process stock adjustments
• Co-ordinate branch stock takes
• Processing quotations
• Invoicing of Debtors
• Processing RFC’S
• Nonstock supplier invoicing
• Filing
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12 + Accounting and Math related subjects
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Procurement or related qualification is strongly recommended.
• Minimum 2 - 3 years relevant experience preferably in the paint or hardware industry
• Must be computer literate with related POS operating system (Preferably IQ Retail)
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans (Verbal & Written)
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong interpersonal skills, numerical, analytical
• Able to work independently with a high attention to detail
• Ability to withstand pressure & meet deadlines
