Restaurant Manager
Area: Strand, Somerset West, Cape Town
Package: R17000 plus benefits (Medical aid, Provident Fund and performance bonus)
Purpose of position: A Casual Dining restaurant in the Strand, Somerset West area, is looking for a Restaurant Manager with good supervisory skills
Duties:
- Opening and closing of restaurant
- Daily management of staff, operations and training
- Staff management, training and development
- Stock Management
- Manage kitchen, customer service, health and safety, equipment maintenance and administration
- Ensure high standards of quality and safety
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation
Skills, experience and qualifications:
- Fully bilingual.
- Matric / Grade 12
- Diploma in Hospitality highly advantageous
- Minimum 3 years recent experience in a restaurant supervisory role A MUST
- Own vehicle required
- High level of computer literacy required (MS Excel a must)
- Must have own vehicle
- Clear Criminal Record
Working hours:
- Mondays Fridays from 7am 19h00 pm one day off every 2nd week.
- Weekends: 6am 18h00 pm bi-weekly, off every second weekend
