POSITION
Live in Mission Team Coordinator
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate or equivalent experience in Youth Development, Theology, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in mission or team coordination.
- Prior involvement in youth and children’s ministry is preferred.
- Strong organisational and basic administrative skills.
- Effective communication skills, including proficiency in English.
- Creative communication abilities, with skills in areas like drama and dance being advantageous.
- A commitment to the mission and values of The Salvation Army.
- A committed Christian with a heart for serving communities.
- Proactive, with strong problem-solving and team-building skills.
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
- Valid Police Clearance Certificate.
RESPONSIBILITIES (inter alia)
- Act as a senior team member, coordinating daily activities and delegating tasks.
- Plan and coordinate mission schedule, campaigns, and outreach for the team.
- Lead and mentor the mission team, fostering spiritual growth, unity, and teamwork.
- Organize and oversee team activities, including discipleship, creative arts, and fundraising.
- Manage logistics: schedules, rotations, resources, and team administration.
- Coordinate travel and logistics for mission campaigns.
- Provide regular updates to the Director on team progress.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with mission documentation.
- Perform additional duties as instructed by management.
REMUNERATION PACKAGE
R7 300 to R10 800 per month
