Your responsibility will include but is not limited to:
Oversee daily operations to ensure timely and compliant tax, payroll, and statutory filings
Manage task/project allocation based on work volume and deadlines
Review and report operational performance to senior management on key metrics
Act as the main contact for client queries and provide progress updates on filings and requests
Ensure high client satisfaction through prompt responses and issue resolution
Lead client onboarding and work on retention and upselling strategies
Maintain knowledge of CIPC, SARS, estate, and trust compliance requirements
Allocate tasks based on understanding of regulatory matters
Support team in handling estate and trust filings
Provide leadership and direction to client teams (tax, VAT, payroll, statutory returns)
Address conflicts and disputes with management's support
Oversee performance appraisals, feedback, and goal setting for staff
Set clear client expectations regarding timelines, deliverables, and challenges
Handle contract renewals, pricing, and service negotiations with management's guidance
Ensure secure handling of client data in compliance with regulations
Train staff on confidentiality and internal data protection policies
Resolve unexpected client concerns or system issues to maintain operational continuity
Manage workloads during peak periods, ensuring adequate support and resource allocation
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role
Pastel experience
Must understand CIPC, SARS, estate, and trust compliance
Qualification:
Degree, national diploma or similar
PA(SA), BA(SA) or a relevant designation will be advantageous
