Senior Travel Consultant required for this award-winning travel agency based in Lincolnshire. They are looking for an experienced travel consultant with excellent customer service skills to join their team. This role can be 4 or 5 days per week in the branch with a salary of up to 28,000 dependent on experience plus quarterly bonus and benefits.
Senior Travel Consultant responsibilities: - Build a holiday package by fully understanding the clients needs and providing the best service to personalise their experience
- Follow up with clients for feedback
- Assist Branch Manager with tasks such as collating feedback, upholding health and safety in branch, dealing with complaints appropriately and effectively
- Maintain and develop specialist knowledge in at least one of the following: cruising, USA/Canada, Australia/New Zealand, Caribbean, Skiing, air travel, safari, luxury long haul or short haul
- Participate in training and motivating and supporting other members of the team
- Strong selling skills including upselling extras such as airport parking, hotels, transfers etc
- Run end of day procedures, rolling out new processes and procedures
Senior Travel Consultant skills required: - Travel industry experience ideally in retail travel
- Strong worldwide geographical knowledge
- Ability to use a GDS, preferably Amadeus
- Excellent selling and communication skills
- Extensive first-hand travel experience
Additional information: - 4 or 5 days per week across Monday-Saturday (approx 2 Saturdays per month with a day off in the week
