My client is looking for a full-time Accounts Assistant to join their team at their Head Office in Kent. This role involves accounts processing and credit control. The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or have equivalent experience, with a strong background in credit control and accounts processing.
Role Requirements
- AAT qualified (or equivalent qualification by experience)
- Proficient in Excel and IT
- Experience using Xero
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience in a similar role is essential
- Polite telephone manner
Main Duties
- Processing sales invoices
- Xero entry
- Managing sales and purchase ledger (including credit cards and expenses)
- Processing purchase orders
- Handling overtime, expenses, and journey log sheets
- Credit control
- General accounts tasks
- Transport administration
- Various administrative duties (answering phones, diary bookings, report logging, filing, organising hotels, etc.)
