Our client seeks a self-starter to handle air and seafreight shipments, mainly exports with some imports.
This role forms part of a smaller office within an international clearing and forwarding agent.
Requirements: - 2-4 years experience handling airfreight and seafreight shipments within clearing and forwarding is a non-negotiable.
- CargoWise experience is a non-negotiable.
- Must be able to arrange necessary documents (Cargo Dues/SI to the shipping lines or co-loaders /EUR1/Certificate of Origins/Phytosanitary Certificates/SADC).
- Must have a little knowledge on perishable/reefer shipments (document requirements, PPECB inspections, etc).
- Able to do estimates/quotes.
- Framing own entries is advantageous.
