Job Description:
- Consistently deliver and exceed on allocated sales targets.
- Develop, manage and maintain strong relationships with Financial Advisers, ensuring consistent growth of their panel.
- Assist in identifying new potential Financial Advisers and opportunities for business growth.
- Provide technical training and ongoing product support to Financial Advisers.
- Facilitate the sales process to ensure that Financial Advisers are going through the correct channels.
- Participate in proactive sales and marketing initiatives.
- Build and sustain profitability in their business.
- Keep up to date with competitor product and service offerings and industry developments, making recommendations to management where necessary.
- Review New Business Pipeline, follow up and track to ensure conversion.
- Deliver regular one-on-one and group presentations.
- Maintain a strong telephone manner: able to make successful cold calls and sell products telephonically.
- Conduct weekly analysis and reporting on deliverables/achievements.
- Attend regional Financial Adviser meetings and deliver on the company's marketing strategy to their Financial Advisors.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years life insurance experience.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Broker Consultant.
- Previous sales experience with a sound knowledge of the insurance industry.
An insurance qualification is essential (RE1, RE5, Certificate in Financial Planning, Diploma in Wealth Planning, CFP or similar).
