PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE:
The Asset Verification - Field Team Leader will be required to ensure accuracy, integrity and compliance of an organisation''s assets according to GRAP and mSCOA requirements. The successful candidate should have experience in Asset Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be able to work with limited supervision.
Support and deliver on project activities in the Public Sector/Municipal Finance Sector in the following domains:
- Asset verification
- Lead verification team and oversee activities of field workers.
- Strategize and lead teams performing 100% physical asset verification.
- Ensuring the tagging of assets with barcodes by verification team.
- Ensuring the putting up of Inventory lists in all rooms by verification team.
- Ensure that accurate Asset Condition assessment is done.
- Provide accurate data processing with data from the field.
- Populate the verified movable and/or immovable assets into the Verified Asset Register
- Assist with determining the fair value of assets.
- Assist in reconciling and developing the GRAP And mSCOA compliant fixed asset register.
- Lead meetings with clients
- Lead client audit support
- Manage and maintain compliance documents as required.
- Make use of company systems and applications, as needed.
- Analyse and provide input on improving company systems.
- Provide support relating to new business development including assisting in the preparation of tender documents.
- coordination of the preparation and delivery of the tender documents, recording of information electronically and
- Checking compliance, completeness and quality of the information prepared.
- Know and understand key personnel (both external and internal) and understand the organisations vision, values, aims and objectives.

- Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks from time-to-time

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
NQF level 5 or higher.
A relevant qualification will be beneficial.
2 or more years of experience in Asset Management.
