Group Savings Operations Consultant – Umbrella Fund
Our client is seeking a candidate that can work actively within a team but also independently. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming work is seen to timeously and any pending work is followed up on effectively and finalized. Responsibilities include communication regarding instructions received and building relationships with internal stakeholders and Scheme Advisers, Employers and Payroll Administrators.
This person will need to be flexible, energetic, trustworthy, organized, self-disciplined and enjoy working in a team environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Validating and processing of incoming instructions in respect of:
- New business setup and amendments of Umbrella Fund Schemes and Special Rules.
- Payroll Administrator Training.
- Monitoring of Regular Contribution and Member records in line with legislative requirements.
- Day to day queries received from the BDM, Scheme Adviser or Employer.
- Ensuring Scheme setup and amendments are correct and in-line with legislation as well as Employer setup for staff.
- Ensuring that all incoming work is captured within the required turnaround times and SLA.
- Maintaining and building relationships with allocated Scheme Advisers and Employers.
- Support fellow team members and Team Coordinator
- Ad hoc duties may be required from time to time
Job Specification
- Matric
- Relevant Qualification is an added advantage
- Two years’ experience in Employee Benefits
- Computer literacy required – Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
