Introduction
SPAR Group is looking to recruit a Senior Store Manager to join their dynamic team.
If you have ENERGY, DRIVE , and a PASSION for FMCG Retail and are able to carry out the following responsibilities:
- People Management: Manage people effectively to achieve the overall company objectives.
- Negotiating and Buying: Effectively and confidently negotiate and buy stock in order to maximise Gross Profit within the stipulated budgets.
- Sales and Expenses: Maximise sales while minimizing expenditure.
- Store Operations: Effectively able to open and close the store and manage the full store operation accordingly.
- Customer Service: Create an environment where customer service is a priority.
- Merchandising and Housekeeping: Ensure that all aspects of merchandising and housekeeping are implemented in accordance with company policies and standards.
- Security: Implement security procedures according to company standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- 8 - 10 years FMCG Store Management experience as a Senior Store Manager
- SPAR background advantageous
- Buying and negotiating skills
- Able bodied and fit
- Very high energy levels
- Teamwork
- Able to work long/extended hours including weekends and public holidays
- Initiative
- Presentable
- Self-confident & enthusiastic approach to administration
- Security awareness
- Creativity
