We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our school client's finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Sage software and be adept at handling day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate and efficient financial management within our educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports
Maintain accurate financial records and manage invoices using Sage software
Process payments and manage petty cash
Support budget preparation and financial planning
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded
Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager
Ensure compliance with school policies and financial regulations
Liaise with staff, parents, and external suppliers regarding financial matters

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a Finance Assistant or similar role
Proficiency in Sage software
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A high level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information

Education and Experience:

A relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
Previous experience in an educational environment is a plus

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00
