Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to express my interest in the Healthcare Assistant / Care Assistant position within your
organisation. With 5 years of hands-on experience supporting elderly individuals, convalescents,
and people with disabilities across residential care and community settings, I am confident in my
ability to provide compassionate, person-centred care that makes a genuine difference to the lives
of those I support.
In my current role as a Care Assistant at Morar Living, I support residents with personal care,
mobility, medication administration, and daily living activities, while maintaining accurate care
documentation in line with CQC standards. Prior to this, as a Support Worker at Care Plan 24 UK, I
assisted service users with personal care, monitored changes in physical and mental health, and
worked closely with nurses to ensure safe, coordinated care. My earlier roles as a Healthcare
Assistant at CIO Carehome and Evergreen Medical in Accra further developed my skills in health
monitoring, care planning, and building trusted relationships with residents and their families.
I hold a comprehensive range of certifications including the Care Certificate Standards (1–15),
Basic Life Support, First Aid, Medication Awareness and Safe Handling, Safeguarding Adults and
Children, and Level 2 Epilepsy Training, alongside Conflict Resolution and PMVA training. I bring
strong communication skills, a calm and patient approach, and a genuine commitment to
safeguarding, dignity, and quality of life for every individual in my care.
I am a reliable, empathetic, and collaborative team player who works well within multidisciplinary
teams and is comfortable adapting to the needs of different individuals and care settings. I am
open to relocation anywhere in the UK and available to start at short notice.
