I have worked in Social Housing for 21 years.
I am confident in working with external bodies, which may include attending professional meetings,
I am a team player; a dedicated individual who will always seek to help others, either with individual workload, or case management. I am knowledgeable in my trade and the Housing sector. I mentor new staff, guiding them through daily tasks, showing how to best use our time and service delivery, or assisting new or complex queries . I have demonstrated flexibility and an agile approach within my daily work, ensuring that jobs are complete within the timeframe, and are compliant to business needs.
I work well as an individual. My most recent role which I have held for 6 years is a lone working role. I lead on all pest control issues which impact our communal areas, and customers affected by infestations, controlling the hazard presented. I do this whilst adhering to company health and safety policies using my people safe device at all times. I have also just recently done a secondment for 6 months as a housing officer.
I work effectively wit other Estate Services Officer, liaising with internal and external partners in areas that may have been subject to high levels of fly tipping, working collaboratively to improve an areas appearance . With excellent written and verbal communication skills I am confident having difficult conversations, working towards a positive resolution and negotiating timeframes. This include, managing customer expectations. I am ambitious and willing to challenge myself to progress my own knowledge and ability within a role. I am honest, and can take responsibility for the decisions I make, justifying them in a proper fashion .
