I am writing to apply for the Warehouse Operative position. I am a reliable and hardworking individual with experience in physically demanding environments, and I am confident I can contribute effectively to your warehouse team.

I am comfortable with manual handling and regularly working with materials and equipment, including lifting and moving items safely. I understand the importance of accuracy and efficiency when picking stock and working towards performance and accuracy KPIs. I take pride in maintaining high standards of organisation and attention to detail to ensure orders are handled correctly.

I also hold New Zealand forklift licences and have practical experience operating forklifts in busy work environments, supporting the safe movement of pallets and materials. This experience has given me a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and efficient stock handling.

I am experienced in maintaining clean and safe working environments and understand the importance of identifying damaged goods, reporting issues, repairing where appropriate, and ensuring stock is handled properly. Tasks such as scanning items, moving pallets with manual handling equipment, and keeping work areas clear and safe are all responsibilities I approach with care and consistency.

I am physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg safely. I am also comfortable working in cold environments, including freezer areas when required. I fully understand and respect workplace safety requirements and have no issues completing a Drug and Alcohol test prior to starting.
