I worked as a teacher in both State and Independent schools for 29 years including 9 as SLT. I trained as Secondary MFL (French and German) but by the time I left teaching I'd taught the entire age range of Y1 to Y13 and 12 subjects including 6 at 'A' level. My roles and responsibilities were very broad, ranging from Pastoral, Behaviour, Head of 6th Form, Careers and Employability, Events and Co-Curricular, EPQ Coordination, Alternative Provision / Inclusion.

I took a "break" from teaching in 2023 and had 2 great years working as Operations Manager for a local gritting firm in the East Midlands. Bit different!

Then my most recent job turned up - Educational Recruitment Consultant with Zoosh Education and it's been great to, again, learn a new range of skills and apply them to an Educational context. But I'm now moving on and looking for new opportunities.
