With extensive experience in customer relations, brand management, and HR practice, alongside a CIPD Level 5 Diploma in HR Management, I bring a well-rounded and pragmatic approach to supporting both people and business objectives.
Currently, I work as a Customer Relations and Brand Manager within the engineering industry, where I act as the main point of contact for customers, manage brand strategy, and oversee external communications. This role has strengthened my ability to build trusted relationships, manage competing priorities, and represent an organisation professionally both internally and externally. I have also coordinated marketing activities, exhibitions, and promotional events, while continuously monitoring feedback to drive service and brand improvements.
Prior to this, I spent over thirteen years as a School Business Manager within education and children’s services, where I was a member of the senior management team. In this role, I was responsible for all aspects of HR and business management, including payroll, budgets, health and safety, governance, and compliance across multiple sites. I provided day-to-day HR advice, ensured adherence to employment legislation and GDPR requirements, and supported managers through sensitive and complex situations with discretion and empathy. As a Designated Safeguarding Lead, I also held responsibility for safeguarding oversight and compliance, further strengthening my ability to manage risk and act with integrity.
Across my career, I have developed strong organisational skills, a high level of professionalism, and the confidence to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with colleagues at all levels. I am particularly motivated by roles that combine people-focused responsibilities with operational and strategic input, where I can contribute to continuous improvement and positive workplace culture.
