About
My time with Holland & Barrett has cultivated my skills as a leader, and moving from a sales assistant to supervisor at the end of last year helped me grow both an an individual and as a team member. I learnt about the importance of motivating a team to help everyone reach their targets and ensuring the store runs smoothly and to its best ability in my managers absence. It was a new experience working in such a close knit team in a smaller store, where I was given the time to excel in the government recognised QTA training—deepening my knowledge of health issues, and vitamins, supplements, and lifestyle changes to prevent and aid these.
Beginning my work journey at Next helped to build my confidence and my customer service skills which I needed to succeed in the retail industry. I also really enjoyed my time with Marks and Spencer over the Christmas period a couple of years ago, both the environment and colleagues made it very fulfilling in the short span of time. Both really helped strengthen my ability to keep up in fast paced environments, and use my customer service knowledge to create an easy, enjoyable experience for customers.
