About
I am an approachable, friendly, and patient individual with a genuine passion for helping children thrive, particularly those with special educational needs and disabilities. As a mum of two and someone currently completing a SEND Teaching Assistant course, I bring not only developing professional knowledge but also empathy, resilience, and a calm, encouraging presence to the classroom.
I am confident building positive relationships with pupils, supporting them at their own pace, and helping them feel understood and valued. I enjoy creating an environment where children feel safe to try, make mistakes, and celebrate small steps of progress. I understand the importance of adapting support to each child’s unique needs—whether that involves breaking tasks down, using visual aids, supporting emotional regulation, or celebrating every achievement.
My background in customer-facing roles has strengthened my communication skills, patience, and ability to stay composed in busy or challenging situations. I am comfortable working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals, and I always welcome feedback and new learning opportunities. I’m eager to keep building my knowledge through my course and hands-on experience, ensuring I can offer pupils the best possible support each day.
I am motivated, reliable, and eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people. I believe every child deserves to feel capable, confident, and included, and I would love the opportunity to contribute positively to your school community as a SEND Learning Support Assistant
