Skills
People say I am an empathetic person who believes in the best and good of others and put myself in their shoes and very considerate of other peoples feelings but I can be a people pleaser. People say my approach is friendly, kind and respectful as I use open body language, a calm tone and smiley and relaxed facial expressions and look interested in conversations as I use active listening. Service users have said that they can come to me if they needed to talk to someone as they feel safe and comfortable and not judged. I’m a good problem solver as I have given solutions that are person centred and tailored to individuals and I work good as either a team or alone. I have good communication skills including a calm tone of voice, active listening, and open body language. Furthermore, I have resilience and patience for different unique and individual needs as I’ve been in challenging situations where ive dealt with children with autism and adhd but remained calm and stayed respectful even if i get overwhelmed.
