About
Hi, I’m Fatihia Awadhi. I’ve recently finished my A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics at Reading College, and I’m now looking to gain more experience while I wait for my results. I’ve always been someone who enjoys helping others — whether that’s through customer service or in a healthcare setting, which is why I’m hoping to study Cardiac Physiology at university.
I’ve had experience working as a Sales Assistant at the British Heart Foundation, where I helped customers on the shop floor, sorted donations, and worked behind the till. I also volunteer as a Church Usher, where I help people feel welcome, assist with events, and make sure everything runs smoothly. These roles have really helped me build confidence, improve my communication skills, and learn how to work well in a team.
One of the things I’m most proud of is balancing my studies, volunteering, and home responsibilities. I live in Reading with my family, and with a baby on the way in December, I’ve learned how to manage my time well and support those around me. I’m fluent in English and Swahili, and I enjoy connecting with people from all backgrounds.
I’m hardworking, calm under pressure, and always willing to learn. Whether I’m helping a customer, supporting a team, or learning something new, I try to give my best in everything I do.
