About
have developed a strong foundation in research, analysis, and media through my A-Level studies in Sociology and History, alongside a BTEC in Digital Creative Media, where I am predicted Distinction, Distinction, Distinction. My academic training has honed my critical thinking and storytelling abilities, which I further refined through my Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) on the rise of women’s football in the UK—an area that aligns both with my personal passion and professional aspirations. This September, I will begin my Sports Journalism studies at UCFB Wembley, where I aim to merge my love for football with a dedication to media and communication.
Beyond academia, I’ve pursued hands-on experience in sports media. I run the @teamslikeluton social media page, growing our presence to around 5–6 thousand followers across four platforms, developing strong skills in digital content creation and audience engagement. I’ve written match reports for St Albans City Football Club and created video content for Luton Town Ladies FC, showcasing my adaptability in both writing and videography. An online graphic design work experience course bolstered my visual storytelling toolkit. A lifelong Luton Town supporter and season ticket holder for over a decade, I also enjoy giving back—I volunteered at Luton’s Big Weekend Festival assisting attendees on the day. These diverse experiences reflect my creativity, initiative, and community spirit, all of which I’m eager to bring into a part-time role that complements my studies. I am currently seeking a part-time position where I can further develop my journalism skills and contribute meaningfully alongside my course.
