Through my work experience in a primary school and involvement in charity events, I’ve developed strong organisational skills, time management, patience, and the ability to support others. About
My name is Imarni, and I am a motivated and ambitious individual currently working towards building a successful and meaningful career. I take pride in being a fast learner with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to take on new challenges with enthusiasm. I am confident in my ability to adapt to different environments and perform effectively both independently and within a team.
Although I am still at an early stage in my career, I have already developed a wide range of transferable skills through education, volunteering, and work experiences. I have gained valuable insight into professional environments through placements and part-time roles that have helped shape my confidence, time management, and interpersonal abilities.
During my work experience at a primary school, I developed strong organisational skills and learned how to effectively manage tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role allowed me to build patience, responsibility, and professionalism while supporting young children and working closely with staff. Additionally, I have participated in charity events such as bake sales at college, where I worked as part of a team to help raise funds and support a shared goal — an experience that sharpened my teamwork and event coordination skills.
Academically, I am currently studying A-levels in Sociology and Biology, after achieving strong GCSE results including a 9 in Sociology and 8 in Biology. My academic journey has strengthened my research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. I am particularly interested in pursuing a career in paediatric nursing, as I have a genuine passion for helping others, especially children, and believe in making a real difference in people’s lives.
I am also a good communicator who feels more confident expressing myself through written communication, which has helped me develop clear and thoughtful messaging in both personal and professional settings. I value emotional intelligence, open communication, and personal growth, and I am actively working to develop a stronger sense of self-awareness and resilience.
I am now actively looking for job opportunities that will allow me to continue developing my skills, gain hands-on experience, and contribute positively in a workplace environment. Whether it’s in customer service, hospitality, childcare, or retail, I am excited to learn and grow within any role I’m given.
