• Housekeeping
• Monitor, train, and regulate employee performance to ensure results and deliverables are met.
• Oversee the completion of day-to-day tasks.
• Manage the team's productivity and time management.
• Ensure standard processes and procedures are followed and that that instructions from management are carried out.
• Prevent and oversee damages.
• Oversee the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Maintain accurate record of inventory and stock management systems. Stock control, quality and including stocktake preparation.
• Ensure regulation of in-stock level complies with demand. Collaborate closely with finance on stock levels and orders.
• Engage in the forecast of supply and demand to obtain information useful in improving the continuity of supply chain.
• Develop inventory control models that promote lower cost of sales, shorter lead times, and reduced stock levels.
• Ensure Customer Orders are delivered on time.
• Supervise the maintenance of a warehouse and ensure proper arrangement of stock.
• Work alongside and oversee drivers on their daily deliveries; utilizing optimal routes
• Daily cycle counts.
• Enforce safety and housekeeping programme on an ongoing basis.
• Positively contribute to the cycle of continuous improvement in the warehousing environment through the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies, practices and people.
Warehouse Responsibilities
• Manage and supervise the warehouse staff.
• Support the warehouse and dispatch supervisor with tasks
• Ensure that all relevant documentation is correctly completed and checked for accuracy and that all loads are balanced secured, correctly despatched, and signed off.
