Candidates are required to work closely with experienced individuals and provide:

Management of the projects and technical group and its operations
Workshop and road techs
Leadership and management of the teams to ensure performance reports in tech areas
All operations administration.

Requirements:

Great communication skills - English, Zulu, Afrikaans, other
Telephone skills
Minimum of 5 years’ experience at the Operations Management level within a technical, electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing company.
Proven management track record with references
Valid driver’s license
Diploma or Degree in Production Management, Operations Management, Electrical, or Mechanical systems

Responsibilities:

Assessing tech reports for a new processing job
Customer communication regarding updates
Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
Determining quality control standards
Overseeing workflow processes
Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
Organising the repair and routine maintenance of equipment
Liaising with buyers and marketing and sales staff
Supervising and managing the work of staff
Organising relevant training sessions
Ensure accurate reporting for flow and invoicing purposes
Maintain management of control systems
Targets will be introduced, set, and agreed with Management
Facilitate the development and maintenance of the operations process
Expedient flow
Maintain a balanced service to cost and profitability ratio through evaluating, analysing, and managing performance, variations, escalations, special requests, projects, and network optimisation
Quality assure service delivery including identifying and creating solutions to resolve service delivery failures and exceptions
Ensure workplace health, safety, and security requirements
Produce accurate monthly operational reports
Undertake department and staff performance reviews
Ability to build value-based relationships with relevant customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Some weekend work is required for technical line telephone to maintain an On-Call line for weekend techs
