A leading insurer and financial services provider is looking for Business Development Managers to distribute Financial Services products to their small and medium enterprise customer base, within Gauteng and surrounding areas.

The role of the Business Development Manager is to grow the portfolio within the Business by increasing the profitability of existing products through strategic marketing and sales initiatives. Responsibilities include:

Developing and maintaining partner relationships.
Coordinating with sales teams to create mutually beneficial proposals and orders with partners.
Communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience in business development in any financial services, telecoms, insurance, or any service industry.
Experience working with SMEs.
Ability to market and sell Group Life, Funeral, and Medical Insurance products.
Traceable references from previous employers and past clients.
Degree or Diploma, highly numerate, excellent communicator, and well-presented, able to engage effortlessly with all types of business owners.
Insurance qualifications - FAIS, RE1, RE5 are a distinct advantage.
Willingness to travel and live away from home as required.
Comfortable in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
