Are you an experienced Press Operator looking for a rewarding opportunity in Inverness? We are seeking a skilled individual to operate and maintain our plant and machinery, ensuring top-quality standards and adherence to Health and Safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate & Maintain Machinery: Ensure all plant and machinery meet expected standards and comply with the company's Health and Safety policy.
Record Keeping: Maintain adequate records as required by the Quality Assurance manual.
Area Maintenance: Monitor and control your working area, carrying out maintenance and checks as needed.
Equipment Monitoring: Track operating parameters, log abnormalities, and report deviations or process interruptions to relevant personnel.
Fire Safety: Monitor fire-fighting equipment in collaboration with the fire team leader.
Planned Maintenance: Ensure Planned Maintenance is conducted according to manufacturer recommendations.
Cross-Department Communication: Effectively communicate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Safety Systems Development: Assist in identifying hazards, conducting risk assessments, and creating Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) for all tasks.
EHS Compliance: Follow operational Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures and report all EHS incidents.
Risk Assessments: Carry out and communicate risk assessments for all required tasks.
Policy Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Quality Assurance: Participate in monitoring and quality assurance, assessing and communicating risks at the operational level.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Press Operator or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of machinery operation and maintenance.
Ability to maintain accurate records and logs.
Knowledge of Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with various departments.
Experience in hazard identification, risk assessment, and developing Safe Systems of Work.
Commitment to following EHS procedures and reporting incidents.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
