An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Management Accountant to join an industry leading, well-established manufacturing company who work highly recognisable, international brands. This is a newly created role due to growth, reporting directly to into the Finance Director. You will have the opportunity to make a difference through your involvement in analysis, reporting and process improvement.

You will be a key member of the Finance team, working in conjunction with the core day-to-day finance tasks including preparing accurate financial reports, conducting variance analysis, managing stock control, and overseeing credit control.

Day to day responsibilities:

You will prepare and present monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets
You will be involved with the control stock processes, including inventory valuation, WIP calculations for projects and reconciliations
Conduct regular stock audits and ensure accurate recording of stock movements
You will provide comprehensive variance analysis to compare actual financial performance against projections and forecasts. Identify significant variances, analyse their causes, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management
You will monitor and review accounts receivable
Implement credit control policies to minimise bad debts and improve cash flow
You will prepare and deliver financial reports and presentations to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making

Requirements:

A proven background in management accounting, including expertise in variance analysis, stock control, and credit control, ideally within a Manufacturing or Project based environment
Experience with SAP B1 would be advantageous and advanced Excel skills, including experience with data analysis
Ideally be a part qualified / qualified / qualified by experience accountant who. You will have strong attention to detail, able to provide process improvement insights and ability to collaborate across departments
