Junior Flooring Planner

Are you detail-oriented with strong Excel skills and an interest in flooring design? Our dynamic Design Studio is seeking a Junior Flooring Planner to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an eye for detail and a desire to build a career in flooring design and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in creating material takeoffs for projects
Generate basic 2D visualizations for carpet layouts using custom software
Work with floor plans, interpreting customer specifications and requirements
Calculate roll requirements for production and installation
Collaborate with the team to verify design specifications and installation details

Essential Skills:

Strong numeracy and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT literacy
Ability to adapt to proprietary software
Detail-oriented with a methodical approach

Working Hours and Benefits:

Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am 5:00 pm, Friday: 8:30 am 4:00 pm, with a flexible lunch break
Salary up to £23,000 with a company pension, private healthcare, and 22 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
