Valeco Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with an established company based in Edinburgh, who are looking for a dedicated Financial Controller to join their team. This is a permanent full-time office based position offering a competitive salary up to 35,000 and free office parking.

About the Role:

As a Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of the business. Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing payroll processing for approximately 20 staff.
Conducting bank reconciliations and credit control.
Preparing accounts up to the trial balance stage.
Producing financial reports and analyses.
Managing pricing, invoicing, and other financial transactions.

Required Skills:

Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role.
Strong financial accounting knowledge and skills.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
