Dean – International Collaborations and Outreach

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as the key representative for Westford, promoting the institution’s values and strategic objectives to internal and external stakeholders, both locally and internationally.
Represent Westford at national and international forums, industry events, and conferences. Effectively communicate the institution’s mission and values to external stakeholders, enhancing its visibility and influence.
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for business development, student engagement, and strategic partnerships that align with Westford’s long-term vision.
Consistently communicate Westford’s academic vision and core values to staff, students, and external partners, ensuring clarity and alignment across programs and initiatives.
Establish and nurture relationships with industry leaders, professional organizations, and government bodies to enhance Westford’s reputation and create new avenues for growth.
Identify and develop opportunities for new revenue streams through student recruitment, international collaborations, research activities, and commercial ventures.
Maintain active communication with stakeholders, including students, staff, alumni, industry partners, and government entities, ensuring that Westford’s strategic goals and values are well understood and supported.
Collaborate with academic leaders and student services teams to implement initiatives that support student success, including career preparation, learning skills development, and retention strategies.
Advocate for the use of cutting-edge technologies to enhance learning, support student success, and maintain Westford’s academic standards in a dynamic educational environment.
Proactively monitor trends within the higher education sector and anticipate challenges, positioning Westford to capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Education and Experience:

Doctorate in a relevant field and has extensive relevant educational experience.
Proven success in fostering strategic partnerships and elevating an institution’s global reputation through business development and external outreach.
Experience in representing an institution at high-level forums and developing partnerships that drive institutional growth and reputation.
