PathCare Vermaak is a partnership of pathologists in private practice which assists doctors and healthcare professionals to determine and confirm diagnoses. The company is registered with the HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa) and all our laboratories are SANAS accredited.

An opportunity exists for an Experienced Medical Technician or a Medical Technologist at the Trichardt laboratory in Mpumalanga. We seek an individual with a high level of ethics and integrity who displays a proven track record of aligning with the PathCare Vermaak values.

Minimum Requirements

3-year Biomedical Technology diploma or Medical Technician Certificate
Current registration with the HPCSA in Clinical Pathology
Computer literate with Skylims knowledge is advantageous
Knowledge/understanding of the stock management system
3-7 years of Clinical experience post HPCSA registration
Experience in technical procedure development and implementation
Experience in maintaining QA Systems
Problem-solving ability (including QC and instrument related)
